Masterful woodworking: perfection in profile and selection

As Holzwerke Gmach, the production of design planed goods and special profiles in high quality has established itself as one of our main areas of expertise. Our more than 100 years of experience in working with wood and our modern machinery enable us to fulfill individual customer requests flexibly and quickly.

The finished goods in the 4 design surfaces are sorted according to the prescribed qualities , packaged according to customer requirements and dispatched on time.

Our quality management system is the basis for sustainable, careful wood sorting and treatment, e.g. with a residual wood moisture content of 10% to 12% after drying, in order to be able to permanently supply the optimum quality for further applications.

Tailor-made wooden profiles for discerning customers

Further processing primarily includes the production of specific profiles and formats for boards and panels, various connecting profiles such as tongue and groove or rebates as well as special profiles.

The choice of wood species and formats, usually softwoods, depends not only on the customer’s taste but also on the subsequent area of application.

Wood species differ not only in their superficial appearance, but also in their growth-related properties, which influence their stability, specific bulk density or resistance.

The infrastructure of our woodworking plant includes two planing lines, which are equipped with a comprehensive tool portfolio and a high-performance painting line. This enables us to meet all market requirements for surfaces and to produce a wide variety of design surfaces in a scalable manner at any time.

A “tidy” appearance is complemented by greater dimensional stability and optimized dimensional accuracy through machining precision, which facilitates further processing and assembly.

We are happy to offer further finishing with varnishes or glazes to prevent processes such as natural graying. In terms of design, our color manufacturers offer endless design options from the proven RAL table.
